Cardbox Packaging and Famar d.o.o. strengthen strategic partnership

Vienna / Maribor, September 22, 2025 – Cardbox Packaging and Slovenian packaging specialist Famar d.o.o. are deepening their strategic collaboration to expand their presence in the field of sustainable paper packaging.

As part of the partnership, Cardbox Packaging will take over international distribution of Famar’s packaging solutions. The companies will also align procurement and production processes to boost efficiency and optimize supply chains.

A key focus will be the joint production of paper cups for ice cream, yogurt, chilled foods and chocolate products – addressing the growing demand for eco-friendly and recyclable packaging in the food industry.

“With Famar, we have an experienced and innovative partner who shares our values in sustainability, flexibility and quality,” says Hans Pridal, Managing Director of Cardbox Packaging.

This partnership marks another step in both companies’ commitment to sustainable growth and innovation in the packaging sector.
